From Latin neophytus and Greek neóphytos, newly planted.
It means beginner or recently converted. It seems like everytime I turn around I find a new subculture that just screams out it's awesomeness and I want to know more. I always feel 'newly planted'. I accept that there is always someone else that I can learn from and I will seek it out. It also explains why I probably will always be a student at heart if not in practice.
I'm an optimistic realist. I realize that things are not always the way the should be but i believe that they can be changed for the good.
